The IMAX® Theatre at SSTM can seat up to 441 people. SSTM focuses on the themes of nature, man and technology. The museum aims to improve the public understanding of science and technology and covers an area of more than 68,000 square meters. There are five major halls including Heaven and Earth, Life, Wisdom, Creativity and the Hall of the Future. The facility also includes a 700 square meter indoor man-made rainforest, which visitors may walk through.

Conceived by the staff of the Hong Kong Science Museum, this new interactive three-dimensional show helps to sustain visitors' interest in the Occupational Safety and Health Gallery. This exhibit aims at educating the public on occupational safety and health at various workplaces. During the show, the audience will be able to experience the situation of potential dangers encountered at work and decide the most appropriate course of action and to stay away from harm.

Wearing polarized glasses, the audience has a stereoscopic on-the-scene experience. The images generated by the projection system has an extended depth of field and even protrudes out of the screen, giving the viewers a thrilling sensation of depth and 'in-the-picture'. The experience is so realistic that the audience feels being immersed in the virtual world of the main character.

In addition, the show has incorporated an in-house developed interactive component to allow participation by the audience. At several junctures in the show, the main character will encounter several hazardous situations. The audience is able to determine the action of the protagonist by making their selections via input devices. As a result, the show will proceed with the choices selected by the majority and the outcome of the stories will be affected by the collective decisions of the audience.

In order the show could be updated in the future, the software portion of the exhibit is designed with an expandability feature. Initially, viewers would be offered three selections including the construction site, kitchen and office but more options could be incorporated into the programme in the future. The exhibit optimizes the limited space in the gallery by incorporating a wide range of topics related to occupational safety and health.

4D Cinema (a moving room that moves or shakes based on its 3D movie action scenes). The 3D show is in Polarizing format- the moving room has been translated to the "fourth dimension" by its owner.

There are also some Digital Stereo Viewers that each shows set of 10 medium format slides (for 500 Tomans)

Cinema 2000 is another place showing polarized 3D Movies, usually 3D cartoons. The place is a covered round parlour in which the people can see a short 10 minute 3D movie while they are standing. It's ticket fee is 3000 Tomans.

IMAX 3D screen with a height of 20 meter and a width of 28 meters. The museum building was designed by Mr. Tadao Ando, a world-renowned architect; located in the heart of the Osaka Port bay area, the museum is a composite cultural facility with a gallery, a museum shop, a restaurant named Sun Tempo, and a sky lounge, as well as the IMAX 3D theater.

The Museum of Kamigata Performing Arts, nicknamed Wahha Kamigata, opened on November 15, 1996, in Namba-Sennichimae, Chuo Ward, Osaka.The museum, run by the Osaka Prefectural Government, preserves and exhibits various articles and materials relating to Kamigata performing arts and also serves to give birth to and nurture new Kamigata performing arts.

The word Kamigata refers to the area of Kansai centered around Kyoto and Osaka.Kamigata performing arts, which make up the popular culture symbolizing Osaka, have traditionally flourished in such genres as rakugo (comic monologues), manzai (comic dialogues), rokyoku (narrative ballads), kodan (oral storytelling) and magic and juggling shows.

The museum occupies the fourth to seventh floors of the YES-NAMBA Building, built by Yoshimoto Kogyo Co., a major entertainment company based in Osaka. The chief attraction of the new facility is the exhibition space on the fourth floor, which reproduces an Osaka street typical of the Taisho and early-Showa eras (roughly the period from the 1910s to 1930s).

There is a jinrikisha (rickshaw) on the street and by sitting in the vehicle, a visitor can feel as if he or she were Katsura Harudanji I (1878-1934), a legendary rakugo entertainer, heading to a yose theater for a performance.

Visitors to the exhibition space can also enjoy a stroll down a row of replicas of stores and halls: a cafe, called a "milk hall" in those days, where visitors can listen to recorded voices of old Kamigata entertainers; an old-fashioned pub where they can see videotapes of popular performers of the past; and a yose theater that offers 3-D movies of performances.

There is also an exhibition corner with displays of the personal effects of deceased famous Kamigata entertainers and other various collections, as well as a library with some 500 videotapes and 1,000 audiotapes, along with booths for individuals who want to enjoy the tapes.

The museum also houses a 307-seat entertainment hall, available for professional and amateur performers, and a training room, which are expected to help nurture the next generation of entertainers.

A powerful 3D-Effect is created in this theater with a projector, a stereophonic sound system and vibrating seats functioning together. Images on the screen make you feel exactly like you are struck by an earthquake!

The VR Theater on the 5 th Floor shows "spacewalk", a program of visuals that are part of an original program based on the "hierarchical structure of the universe," "simulation of the formation of the moon" and the "simulation of the formation of a spiral galaxy" that were specially selected from contents of the 4D2U project of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.

The largest in Southeast Asia , this 59-seater motion simulator, has six-degree-of-freedom movement which makes the experience real and enjoyable. The 3D theater is located in the first basement floor. The interior is equipped with a 70mm 3D projector of Iwerks Company of USA, complete with a large screen. It is a 10m high, 280-seat auditorium.

Take the MRTA Subway to Sam Yan Station and walk down on Phaya Thai Rd. for approx. 400 metres. Alternatively, get a Meter-Taxi to Chulalongkorn University.

Enter the University grounds at the main gate on Phaya Thai Rd. and walk left along the fence, until you reach the next (pedestrean) gate. You will see a modern white highrise building immediately on your right.

Turn right and walk for about 50 metres, then turn left - passing under a building through what looks like a student's picknick area.

The museum is located inside the next building to your left. Use the central staircase to get to the 3rd floor. Alternatively, use the elevator which is located to the right of the staircase, a few metres back.

The first camera and photograph museum to be established in Asia, this is located at the same building as the Department of Photographic Science and Printing Technology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University.

Historic photographs and imaging equipment as well as its technological evolution are on display. Modern photographic arts and techniques as well as advanced technology of three dimensional photographs, electronic photography and printing technology are also exhibited.

A number of stereo cameras are on display, along with someThat have been collected and used by King Rama VII (King Prajadhipok). For example, the leather case of a Heidoscope camera is marked "His Majesty The King of Siam".

Also available is a small selection of anaglyph images to view.

A Holmes-type Stereoscope (aluminum hood, marked "Sun Sculpture") is on display on the 1st floor in Section 3. Along the viewer a few boxed sets of "Underwood & Underwood" cards are shown (Norway, France, plus a few separate cards of Japan). The overall condition is fairly bad.

The whole is labelled extensively in Thai, plus there is a short sign in English as well: "A three-dimensional Peep-Box. Had given to Chao Darassami by King Rama V". King Rama V is also known as King Chulalongkorn. He reigned from 1868 to 1910.
