When these are gone no more will be available! Vintage museum stereo views of London's Underground Tube Under Construction. For the 1990 Centenary the London Transport Museum, located in Covent Garden, mounted an historical exhibit. In doing research a number of stereoscopic views were discovered the museum archives. These were not commercial views, but were apparently taken to document the work in progress. The limited quantity set consists of nine anaglyph (red/green) stereo images. The master negatives for the 7" x 7¼" views were made directly from the original prints, and the results are some of the best anaglyphs we have ever seen. Each image is printed on 8¼" x 11¾" heavy glossy stock, with an image caption and special Tube Centenary logo. Two pairs of special red/green Tube Centenary 3-D glasses are included with each set. These images from around 1907 illustrate
the workmen and complex construction necessary to create the tunnels nearly
60 feet under London. Other than having simple captions, no documentation
or photographer information was discovered. The London Transport Museum
