Have you ever considered the idea
of making old-fashioned side-by-side 3-D prints, but thought it was just too
much trouble? Then here's a new 3-D camera just for you! It uses ordinary processing
and printing, and you get a ready-to-view 3-D print returned from any
photo lab of your choice (drug store, one hour lab, anywhere!) that
may be viewed in the included LOREO Mini 3-D Print Viewer (or "free viewed"
without a viewer - if you know how).
The LOREO MKII STEREO CAMERA is a compact (5 ¾" x 3" x 2" - it fits into a large pocket), lightweight (10 oz. with 2 "AA" batteries) camera with 2 lenses and a built-in GLASS mirror system to increase the stereo base to a "normal" separation. The twin 28mm fixed focus lenses are sharp from 2.5 feet to infinity (on Daylight setting) - which is great for stunning 3-D portraits, flowers, animals or whatever! |
The original Loreo 3D Camera was introduced in 1990. We sold it for many years under the Argus 3D Camera brand name. The new LOREO MK II STEREO CAMERA now has Glass Mirror Reflectors and Aspheric Lenses, which produce even sharper 3D pictures! Image Pitch has been adjusted for even easier 3D fusion, particularly with 4" x 6" prints. New Mini viewers work well with images from the MKII Aspheric Lens. F-stop has been opened up to 2.5 mm diameter, and the shutter speed adjusted from 1/90 to 1/60 sec for brighter photos under dull conditions. A new beam splitter housing eliminates internal reflections.
There's nothing to set because the camera has just two apertures (daylight/f18 & flash/f11) and one shutter speed (1/60). Our tests, however, show that the wide latitude of negative film, along with the computerized color printing used in labs today, make for beautifully exposed prints in normal daylight. When it is too dark to get a good exposure, a red light reminds you to turn on the built-in pop-up reflector flash.
The camera is designed to be used with normal 35mm ISO 200 negative film (ISO 400 optional) to get a side-by-side 3-D print pair within the normal 35mm film frame. When the film is sent to any lab OF YOUR CHOICE no special instructions (normally) are needed. Just ask for the normal 3 ½" x 5" or 4" x 6" prints, matte or glossy.

No mounting is required because when you get your prints back you will have a properly aligned right and left image on each print (in just 60 minutes with a one hour lab!). Just put the prints into the companion LOREO MINI 3D PRINT VIEWER that comes with the camera, and you'll see your pictures in 3-D! It couldn't be simpler! |
